Decision day has come for Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy four-star defensive lineman Hevin Brown-Shuler. He will be announcing his commitment at roughly 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Brown-Shuler is the No. 183 overall prospect and No. 21 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 27 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-2.5, 300-pound defender announced his top 13 schools on New Year’s Day. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Clemson has a commanding lead for his recruitment at 84.6%.

4:36 p.m. About 20 more family members have just arrived.

4:32 p.m. More guests about to be let in. Among them is On3 four-star linebacker Ashton Woods, a friend of Brown-Shuler’s. Woods plays for Marietta (Ga.) Walton High School.

4:31 p.m. Brown-Shuler is in the building. He still hasn’t made an appearance at the party. He is still about 30 minutes away from a decision. About 15-20 family members are inside at the moment.

4:28 p.m. We are hearing that Brown-Shuler’s announcement is coming around 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
