Cypress (Texas) Cy Park linebacker Harold Perkins is the top uncommitted linebacker in the country. After a winding recruitment and recent commitment — and decommitment from Texas A&M — the five-star is ready to make his decision.

Perkins is largely down to three schools (Texas A&M, Florida and LSU), and he will announce his commitment to one of them this afternoon.

As it stands at 2:55 p.m. ET, LSU is the predicted landing spot for Perkins, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

On3 Senior National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton will be on hand at Perkins’ announcement ceremony, and he will provide updates as the clock ticks down toward the scheduled 4:30 p.m. ET decision time.

4:29 p.m. ET: Harold Perkins chooses LSU over Texas A&M and Florida. “Everywhere Coach Kelly went, he’s turned around the program,” Perkins said.

4:27 p.m. ET: We’re about five minutes away from Perkins’ announcement. Lots of family and friends behind him.
