Live Updates: Jacoby Mathews Commitment Ceremony
Ponchatoula (La.) safety Jacoby Mathews is the top uncommitted defensive back in the country. After a long recruitment, the five-star is ready to make his decision.
Mathews is down to three schools — Texas A&M, LSU and Florida — and he will announce his commitment to one of them this evening.
On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman is on hand at Mathews’ announcement ceremony, and he will provide updates as the clock ticks down toward the scheduled 7:00 p.m. ET decision time.
7:09 p.m. ET: Jacoby Mathews has announced his commitment to Texas A&M.
7:07 p.m. ET: If Mathews does indeed commit to the Aggies, his pledge would push them ahead of Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class for the top-ranked class in the internet recruiting era. Texas A&M is currently .09 points behind that Crimson Tide crop.
