Live Updates: Four-star CB Jordan Matthews commitment ceremony
BATON ROUGE, La. — Four-star Louisiana cornerback Jordan Matthews has the finish line in sight. He’s ready to reveal his college decision.
The On300 cornerback from Baton Rouge (La.) Woodlawn High School will announce his college commitment on Monday, August 15. Matthews will choose from from Texas, Tennessee and Michigan at around 2 p.m. CT.
The On3 Consensus‘ No. 15-rated cornerback in the country is coming off an unofficial visit back to Texas over the weekend. Unofficially, that was Matthews’ fifth trip to the Forty Acres and the Longhorns are leading the way on On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Matthews is tabbed as the No. 129 overall player in the class regardless of position according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 8 player in The Boot for this cycle.
