FULL 2023 MCDONALD’S ALL-AMERICAN ROSTERS

Live Updates from McDonald’s All-American Game Practice

10:36 a.m. CT: DJ Wagner is ultra competitive. Even in this setting where everyone is competing, he’s a step above – Jamie Shaw

10:29 a.m. CT: Even in an event like this and a setting of this magnitude, Oklahoma State signee Brandon Garrison’s frame pops. Long arms, broad shoulders and simply a strong looking frame – Jamie Shaw

10:20 a.m. CT: Aaron Bradshaw had a nice showing during the scrimmage portion. Showed off the range on his jumper, some handle in the open floor and pop at the rim – Jamie Shaw

10:18 a.m. CT: Ron Holland has really separated himself today. The motor is running hot and he is simply too quick for bigs and too big for guards. He’s also knocking down the jumper consistently – Jamie Shaw

9:45 a.m. CT: The competitive fire really comes out in these practices. Players feeling each other out to start but 20 minutes in, there’s a ton of contact and the players are working on defense. It’s an environment some guys really thrive in – Joe Tipton

9:42 a.m. CT: Ron Holland has been the most impressive player on my court. Knocked down multiple threes, defending at a high level and finishing the easy ones around the rim. Too quick for the bigs to guard him and too strong for the guards to – Jamie Shaw

9:39 a.m. CT: Can’t help but notice the consistent disruption KJ Evans brings on the defensive end. With the 7-foot-plus wingspan, he gets in the passing lanes and protects the rim from the weak side. He slides his feet on the perimeter like a wing. Real intruding as a defensive presence moving forward – Joe Tipton

9:34 a.m. CT: Aden Holloway remains one of the best one-on-one players in this class. Has a shiftiness in his dribble and a great center of gravity that keeps him on balance and able to rise up quickly as he gets his defender off balance – Joe Tipton

9:29 a.m. CT: Even in half court three-on-three drills, DJ Wagner’s ability to touch the paint is apparent. He’s aggressively downhill with the ball in his hands – Joe Tipton

9:15 a.m. CT: Ron Holland’s shot appears to be on an upward trajectory, He’s taking it confidently and his ability to space the floor has been a solid addition to his game. Just knocked down a corner three – Jamie Shaw

9:13 a.m. CT: Omaha Biliew has done his best to tear the rim off this morning. He’s always been physically imposing but his willingness to compete, defend at a high level and finish the easy ones around basket with strength has really stood out – Jamie Shaw

9:04 a.m. CT: The tallest player listed on the roster is Aaron Bradshaw, which makes the smooth release of his jump shot all the more compelling. Has real upside as a 7-footer who can stretch the floor consistently – Joe Tipton

8:55 a.m. CT: Isaiah Collier is confidently taking his jump shot in practice. Nice to see him trusting his shot. He’s also shown athleticism at, or should I say, above the rim. The USC signee’s change of speed/burst continues to impress – Jamie Shaw

8:45 a.m. CT: Even in the drills portion, 2023 On3 No. 1 Cody Williams‘ height and length pop immediately. He has prototypical wing size with long arms and a projectable frame. Very fluid in his movements – Joe Tipton

8:37 a.m. CT: Something you don’t get until see him up close, Bronny James looks noticeably bigger. The height is legit, every bit of his 6-3 frame looks to have filled out considerably – Joe Tipton
