Hundreds of FBS prospects and dozens of blue-chippers will make their way to metro Los Angeles this week to take part in the OT7 Finals – the championship of Overtime’s 7-on-7 league. The event will feature 12 select 7-on-7 teams and will run from Thursday to Sunday. Many of the nation’s top prospects from the 2024 and 2025 cycles are set to attend, making for what will be the most star-studded recruiting event of the summer.

Given the nature of 7-on-7, the skill players and defensive backs will account for the vast majority of prospects on hand. The four-day tournament should provide ample opportunities for On3 to get a close look at top prospects over the next several recruiting cycles. Also note that the rosters are very fluid as players can come and go over the course of the tournament.

Let’s take a look at some of the top names expected to attend among each position group.

Top 2024 pass-catchers heading to OT7 Finals

OT7 provides a great look at many of the top pass-catchers in the nation.

The group is headlined by On3 Plus+ Ohio State commit Jeremiah Smith. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass catcher ranks as the No. 3 overall prospect in the On300 and will look to show the combination of route-running and ball skills that makes him one of the more highly-touted receivers in several cycles.

Smith is set to be joined by fellow Ohio State commit Mylan Graham (No. 12 in the On300) and high school teammate Joshisa Trader on what is an absolutely loaded South Florida Express roster. Graham is one of the most technical receivers in the cycle.

Caleb Odom (No. 37) is slated to be the top-ranked tight end on hand. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder has been on a steady ascent in the rankings dating back to last fall and turned in a big junior season on the gridiron and hardwood. This will be our first in-person exposure to Odom, who could push as the top tight end in the cycle before all is said and done.

USC commit Xavier Jordan (No. 73) is the top receiver on the West Coast in On3’s rankings. Jordan will suit up for the Trillion Boys 7-on-7 team and look to show the high-level coordination and route-running that makes him the cycle’s most productive blue-chip wide receiver on Friday nights.

Ten more receivers in the 2024 On300 are on OT7 rosters: Georgia commit Ny Carr (No. 119) and Miami commit Chance Robinson (No. 165) are also set to join Smith, Graham and Trader on South Florida Express. Kwazi Gilmer (No. 126) and Jeremiah McClellan (No. 201) are set to play for California Power.
Clemson commit TJ Moore (No. 139), South Carolina commit Mazeo Bennett (No. 24), Jordan Ross (No. 207), Oregon commit Jordan Anderson (No. 210), Florida commit Izaiah Williams (No. 234) and Georgia commit NiTareon Tuggle (No. 286) round out the group of 2024 On300 receivers on hand.

Mario Craver, Noreel White, Arkansas commit Courtney Crutchfield, Bredell Richardson, Washington commit Landon Bell, Jason Robinson, Purdue commit Luke WilliamsI’Marion Stewart, Purdue commit Jo’Ziah Edmond and Elijah Moore are several more touted pass-catchers expected to be on hand.

Loaded group of 2025 wide receivers set to show out

The majority of the top 2025 wide receiver prospects at this point in time are set to be in Los Angeles for OT7. In fact, nine of the top ten wide receivers in the 2025 On300 are on OT7 rosters, with the majority being split between two teams. The week should provide a great opportunity to see the lion’s share of top 2025 receivers in the same setting.

Five-star Alabama commit Ryan Williams (No. 3 in the 2025 On300) is the top-ranked 2025 wide receiver and is set to play for South Florida Express. Williams pairs elite production on Friday nights with a big-time athletic profile. He’ll be joined by fellow 2025 blue-chippers Jaime Ffrench (No. 20), Marcus Harris (No. 32), Adrian Wilson (No. 36) and tight end Davon Mitchell (No. 49) on the loaded SFE roster.

The Trillion Boys 7-on-7 team features five receivers who are top 100 prospects in the 2025 On300. The group is led by Andrew Marsh (No. 17) – a strong-handed, productive pass-catcher. Marsh is joined by Phillip Bell (No. 29), Donovan Olugbode (No. 38), Dakorien Moore (No. 45) and Colorado commit Winston Watkins (No. 89).

Naeshaun Montgomery (No. 47), Talyn Taylor (No. 64), Oregon commit Dallas Wilson (No. 98), Cortez Mills (No. 140) and Isaiah Mozee (No. 158) are five more 2025 On300 wide receivers slated to be on hand.

Sayin, MacIntyre headline OT7 quarterback group

While most of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 cycle will be across Los Angeles on Thursday and Friday for the Elite 11 Finals, a number of top passers are tabbed to be at OT7 – including several who could head down to Orange County after the Elite 11 Finals concludes.

Alabama commit Julian Sayin (No. 18) is the highest ranked 2024 quarterback on OT7 rosters. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder is set to play for Raw Miami. Sayin is one of the more technically-refined quarterbacks in the 2024 cycle, with a quick throwing motion and natural accuracy.

With many of the top 2024 passers occupied for the first few days of the event, eyes will turn to the 2025 quarterbacks at OT7. That group is led by George MacIntyre (No. 16 in the 2025 On300). The 6-foot-5.5, 185-pounder is set to throw to the loaded SFE wide receiver group. OT7 will mark our first opportunity to see the Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy passer in a neutral setting.

MacIntyre will be joined in Los Angeles by fellow touted 2025 quarterback Deuce Knight, who is set to lead Pressure. Knight is one of the more toolsy and athletic signal callers in the 2025 cycle. Bear Bachmeier (No. 103), Husan Longstreet (No. 207), Florida State commit Tramell Jones and Madden Iamaleava are additional 2025 passers of note set to be on hand.

Notre Dame commit CJ Carr, Trever Jackson and Colin Hurley are three more blue-chip quarterbacks who could join OT7 at the conclusion of the Elite 11 Finals. Oregon commit Michael Van Buren is not an Elite 11 Finalist, but is scheduled to be in Los Angeles where he’ll play for Raw Miami.

OT7 set to feature top defensive backs

Three of the top five cornerback prospects in the 2024 On300 are set to be at the OT7 Finals. The group is led by five-star Georgia commit, Ellis Robinson IV (No. 4). The IMG Academy corner will look to prove why he’s the nation’s top-ranked corner prospect. He should see some big-time matchups against the loaded wide receiver group while playing for Raw Miami.

Charles Lester (No. 15) and Jamari Howard (No. 44) present a very strong cornerback duo for South Florida Express. OT7 Finals will mark our first chance to see either in a neutral setting, which should certainly shine a light on their coverage skills and how they stack up within the overall group. Lester is a do-it-all player on Friday nights, while Howard is one of the longer defensive backs in the 2024 cycle.

Georgia commit Demello Jones (No. 128) and Nebraska commit Mario Buford (No. 144) are two more corners inside the 2024 On300 slated to be on hand.

The top 2025 defensive back on OT7 Finals rosters is Devin Sanchez. The Houston North Shore standout ranks as the No. 9 overall prospect and No. 2 cornerback in the 2025 On300 and could push for a fifth star with a strong week in coverage. Sanchez is a big-framed, plus athlete who is battle-tested against top high school competition.

Dijon Lee (No. 44), Alex Graham (No. 68), Devin Williams (No. 80), Michigan commit Chris Ewald Jr. (No. 149) are four more 2025 corners set to be on hand.

Several talented safety prospects are also headed to the OT7 Finals. The group is headlined by Georgia commit Jaylen Heyward (No. 54) and Zay Mincey (No. 64). Heyward was at the even last year and will look to impress in coverage. Mincey has the size and athleticism to potentially play cornerback at the next level. How he looks in coverage this week could paint a clearer picture of that possibility.

Ricardo Jones (No. 230), Ryan Mack (No. 248), Zaquan Patterson (No. 284), Jason Mitchell (No. 287) and Kensley Faustin (No. 293) are more On300 safety prospects set to attend. Colorado commit Aaron Butler (No. 200), Chalil Cummings (No. 239) and Tae Johnson (No. 283) are three more On300 Athlete prospects who could play on either side of the ball at the OT7 Finals.

Close to double digit blue-chip safeties from the 2025 cycle are set to be in Los Angeles. That group includes Kendarius Reddick (No. 33), Ohio State commit Jontae Gilbert (No. 43), Tony Williams (No. 83), USC commit, Anquon Fegans (No. 129), Hylton Stubbs (No. 132), Matai Tagoa’i (No. 150), Martels Carter (No. 156), Faheem Delane (No. 163) and Amari Wallace (No. 169).

Big linebackers set to be at OT7 Finals

While the wide receivers and defensive backs will comprise much of the action at the OT7 finals, there are a handful of linebackers and running backs of note set to be on hand.

The top-ranked 2025 linebacker is Virginia Tech commit Gabriel Williams (No. 85). The 6-foot-4, 195-pounder will look to show off his length and coverage skills in Los Angeles.

Two top five linebacker prospects in the 2025 cycle are also set to attend – Noah Mikhail (No. 50) and Georgia commit Jaden Perlotte (No. 53).

There aren’t too many top running backs of note on OT7 rosters but 2024 all-purpose back athlete Derrick McFall and 2025 On300 runner Alvin Henderson are among the headliners.
