Logan Diggs injury update: Latest on Ole Miss RB's status vs. Florida revealed on Thursday injury report
Florida and Ole Miss are readying for a contest that will have bowl aspirations on the line for one and College Football Playoff implications for the other. And the status of the injury report will be key.
Both teams had some key players listed on Wednesday’s injury report, indicating there’s some monitoring to be done ahead of the showdown in the Swamp.
The good news for Ole Miss is it’s coming off a bye week and has had significant time to rest and recover. Florida won’t be so lucky.
As is, there are a few key players to monitor, particularly on the Ole Miss side of the injury report.
Quarterback Jaxson Dart, who suffered an injury during the first half of the Georgia game two weeks ago, was listed as probable on Wednesday. Along with him, receiver Tre Harris is also listed as probable for the contest.
Those are two major injuries to watch. Let’s get to the rest of the injury report, now updated on Thursday.
Florida:
- Ja’Keem Jackson, DB, OUT
- Jason Marshall Jr., DB, OUT
- Eugene Wilson III, WR, OUT
- Treyaun Webb, RB, OUT
- Grayson Howard, ILB, OUT
- Graham Mertz, QB, OUT
- Asa Turner, DB, OUT
- Kahleil Jackson, WR, OUT
- Devin Moore, DB, OUT
- Devon Manuel, OL, OUT
- Roderick Kearney, OL, OUT
- Jamari Lyons, DL, OUT
Ole Miss:
- Izaiah Hartrup, WR, OUT
- Henry Parrish Jr., RB, OUT
- Logan Diggs, RB, Questionable
Probably the most significant injury for either team — barring Florida quarterback DJ Lagway further tweaking the hamstring injury he’s playing on — is that to Ole Miss receiver Tre Haris.

Harris has been on ice for more than a month. Coach Lane Kiffin made it sound like he’ll be ready to roll on Saturday in the Swamp.
“Tre’s been great,” Kiffin said on the SEC coaches teleconference on Wednesday. “Been awesome having him back out there. To be fully loaded, whole team and offense has been great. Great feeling to have that back. The nation’s toughest receiver in the country. So, it’s been great to have him back out there.”
As for Florida, running back Montrell Johnson has come off the injury list altogether after receiving two carries against LSU last week. That’s big news.
Aside from season-ending injuries, the only real knock to monitor off Wednesday’s injury report is to offensive lineman Roderick Kearney, who was listed as questionable.
Of course, continuing to keep an eye on the injury report going forward will be key.
