WATCH: Loganville high school wins game in 4OT after tossing wild no look pass
High school football action has gotten underway across the country and a team from the state of Georgia got the party started in unprecedented fashion on Friday night. In what will go down as one of the most mind-blowing play calls in high school football history, Loganville High School (Loganville, Georgia) broke the internet on Friday night with one of the wildest and wackiest offensive plays you will ever see in their matchup against Monroe Area (Monroe, Georgia).
With the football at the 13-yard line, Solomon Leslie took the snap in the shotgun, proceeded to hand the ball off to Connor O’Neil, who then settled his feet in the backfield right around the 18-yard line, squared his shoulders to the line of scrimmage with his back facing the end zone, and proceeded to toss a no look pass over his head, backwards. Miraculously, the ball floated through the air and was perfectly placed into the outstretched arms of his tight end in the end zone, lifting his team to victory in four overtimes.
Loganville prevailed victorious 45-39.
Check out the play here.
Not only was the play beautiful execution and timing by Loganville, but what an incredible amount of courage by the Loganville coaching staff to call a play like that in such a crucial situation! It’s tough to imagine just how long it took them to practice that one to get the timing down. What a play.

The Monroe Area defense seemed stunned as the ball was floating through the air and who could blame them? It’s one of the most creative and unbelievable pass plays, ever. You simply don’t see anything like that, ever! The timing of everything on that play had to be absolutely perfect, from the handoff, all the way down to the timing of the toss.
Loganville will face Discovery High School (Lawrenceville, Georgia) next Friday on Aug. 26. Kickoff for that one is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST.
