Florida State and LSU just finished a classic game down in New Orleans. After a wild final minute, the Tigers scored a touchdown to tie the game and, with a PAT, were set to send the game to OT. The Seminoles had other ideas, though, with a block on the kick that ended the game at 24-23 in favor of FSU. Plenty were quick to react on social media, but none were more brutal than UMBC’s Twitter account.

With a look at a video from the UMBC soccer game this evening, the Retrievers poured plenty of salt in the Tiger’s wound with this one.

As great as the moments are in college sports, the reactions are oftentimes just as good if not better. While being nowhere near or involved with the incredible matchup between the Seminoles and Tigers, the Retrievers may have won the social media contest after the game.

The Seminoles came up tremendously huge with the game on the line, blocking their second kick of the night and securing the 24-23 win.

The final drive of regulation ended with incredible drama as countless LSU plays ended with chunks of yardage and getting out of bounds in a hurry. The drive came to its conclusion after a play finished just shy of the end zone with one second on the clock. Originally the ball-carrier was ruled out-of-bounds, setting up a goal-line play to decide the game.

Upon review however, the play was ruled down before reaching the sideline, setting up a one-second final play. LSU completed the incredible drive, scoring the touchdown they needed — before Florida State denied them at the last moment.
