Top Louisiana high school football recruits in the Class of 2026

Few states produce the type of high school football talent that Louisiana does on an annual basis, and it translates impressively over to the college and NFL ranks.
The 2026 class is no different, with a trio of five-stars and more than 10 blue-chip prospects across the state.
Below are the top 10 players in Louisiana heading into their senior seasons:
ATH Lamar Brown
School: University Lab
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 7
An elite two-way lineman, Brown is one of the country’s most coveted prospects regardless of position. He is primarily being recruited to play defensive line at the next level, with Texas, Texas A&M, LSU, Miami and more among his top suitors. He is also an elite thrower, winning the Louisiana 3A discus championship (151-6) in outdoor competition, which followed a Louisiana indoor shot put state title (54-4).
DL Richard Anderson – LSU commit
School: Edna Karr
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 26
The mammoth 6-foot-3, 335-pounder was an early pledge to LSU before blowing up into a five-star prospect on multiple recruiting services. As a junior, he helped Edna Karr to a 14-0 record and the Louisiana Division I state championship. He recorded 44 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 18 quarterback hurries, two interceptions, and a touchdown.
S Blaine Bradford – Ohio State commit
School: Baton Rouge Catholic
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 31
Bradford, a hard-hitting safety with 4.4 40 speed, has been on the radars of college programs for over two years as one of the top prospects in the Boot. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder spurned the in-state Tigers for Ohio State this spring, but will be one of the most sought-after players in the country until ink officially hits paper.
WR Jabari Mack – LSU commit
School: Destrehan
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 60
A star since his freshman year at Destrehan, the LSU-bound Mack has been one of the state’s top playmakers and an elite national recruit. In March, he committed to the Tigers over more than 20 offers including Oregon, Ohio State and Texas.
S Aiden Hall – LSU commit
School: Edna Karr
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 88
Another Tigers pledge from Edna Karr, Hall gave his verbal commitment to LSU back in August 2024 over Ole Miss, Florida State, USC, Georgia and more. He finished his junior season with 38 tackles, including 12 for loss and four sacks, plus four interceptions, 11 pass break-ups, four blocked punts and two fumble recoveries.

OT Brysten Martinez – LSU commit
School: East Ascension
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 111
Hailing almost equidistant from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, the 6-foot-5, 290-pound mauler is one of the country’s best offensive tackles. He also earned second-team All-State honors on the hardwood, averaging better than 15 points per game.
WR Kenny Darby – LSU commit
School: Airline
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 152
No wide receiver in the state had a more prolific junior season than Darby, who finished the fall with 100 receptions for 1,764 yards and 24 scores. He skyrocketed up the rankings at the same time, and ultimately committed to LSU over Mississippi State, Louisiana State, Texas A&M, Miami and others.
DL Dylan Berymon
School: Ouachita Parish
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 172
Playing at the 5A level, Berymon was an all-state selection with 45 tackles, including 15 for loss and three sacks. Texas, Purdue, North Carolina and LSU were some of the top contenders for his commitment, but he ultimately chose the Longhorns over the Boilermakers earlier this month.
LB JaMichael Garrett
School: Central
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 263
After bouncing around between a handful of high schools over the past few years, Garrett looks to have found his home at Baton Rouge Central. As a junior at Gulf Shores (Ala.), he was one of the Yellowhammer State’s most productive defenders with 91 tackles, 9.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks. An early Auburn commit, he backed off that pledge in early June.
WR Jakai Anderson
School: McDonogh 35
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 283
Anderson earned a Class 4A wide receiver selection with 57 catches for 972 yards and 14 touchdowns, while also adding 151 yards and four scores on 16 carries and a combined 518 yards and seven touchdowns on kick and punt returns. He was an early pledge to LSU but ultimately flipped away to SMU in May.
