Louisiana RB Trevor Etienne cuts list to 5 schools
Class of 2022 running back Trevor Etienne of Jennings (La.) High narrowed his list to five schools on Wednesday. Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Florida were the schools that made the cut.
Etienne, who will be ranked as a three-star prospect by On3, said he plans to make a commitment in the coming months. He visited each school in his top five this summer and discussed the final contenders
Trevor Etienne on Clemson
“Clemson feels like home, being that I have a great relationship with everyone there, coaches and players,” Etienne said. “I also know how they develop players because I saw it first hand with my brother.”
Trevor Etienne’s brother is Travis, who was a two-time ACC Player of the Year at Clemson. In his Clemson career, he rushed for 8,864 yards and 115 total touchdowns and went on to be selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Trevor Etienne on LSU
“I feel like I would be a perfect fit to their offense,” Etienne said. “I like how they now throw the ball more to the running back out of the backfield, and it’s close to home.”
His Thoughts on Georgia and Alabama
“Georgia and Alabama both have a great history with their backs going to the league and becoming better players while at each program,” Etienne said. “I have great relationships with both coaching staffs.”
Etienne on Florida
“Florida is a great school,” Etienne said. “I love the vision they have for the program, and it’s close to my brother, so that would be easier on my family to get back and forth to support the both of us.”
Etienne rushed for 1,242 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior and looks to lead Jennings back to the state championship after a loss to Madison Prep in the quarterfinals.
