Louisville lands commitment from top-5 transfer guard Adrian Wooley

Kennesaw State transfer Adrian Wooley has committed to Louisville, sources told On3.
The 6-foot-5 freshman guard and Tuscaloosa native chose Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals over the hometown Alabama program, among many other schools.
Wooley, considered a top-5 player in the transfer portal, averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season. He shot 51% from the field and 42% from three.
Wooley’s timeline was an expedited one and it didn’t take him long to make a decision. He entered the transfer portal on March 27th, visited Louisville on March 28th, and committed to the ‘Cards on March 29th.

In year one of the Pat Kelsey era, Louisville finished with a strong season. The Cardinals had a 27-8 overall record, finishing second in the ACC. Louisville fell to Creighton in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
