Louisville RB Donald Chaney Jr. sets portal visits
Louisville transfer running back Donald Chaney Jr. has two visits scheduled for early January, his agent Noah Reisenfeld tells On3. The former Miami transfer will have one season of eligibility remaining. Chaney will be at Coastal Carolina on Jan. 2 and at Temple on Jan. 4
Chaney was one of four backs receiving carries this fall for Louisville. He had 50 carries on the season for 178 yards and a career-high tying three touchdowns. During his time at Miami, Chaney posted 175 carries for 852 yards and six touchdowns.
He was the No. 126 overall recruit there as a four-star prospect in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Donald Chaney was also rated as a top-15 running back in the class and a top-20 player out of the state of Florida.
