Louisville, Utah offer 2022 Tampa safety Wade Woodaz
Tampa Jesuit safety Wade Woodaz has picked four offers over the last two days, including from two Power Five schools in Louisville and Utah.
Arkansas State and FCS Rhode Island have also offered Woodaz scholarships this week.
Woodaz has 18 offers from Division I programs across both FBS and FCS. At the FBS level, he also holds offers from Air Force, Army, Maryland, Navy, Toledo, Tulane and USF.
Woodaz also has offers from four Ivy League programs: Columbia, Harvard, Penn and Yale.
Wade Woodaz also went on a visit to Florida State last month.
Utah has a small class
Utah has a class of only seven commits. But they do have their crown jewel in Clovis (Calif.) High four-star quarterback Nate Johnson — the No. 197 overall recruit in the 2022 On300 rankings.
Wade Woodaz would join Richmond (Texas) George Ranch safety Jeffrey Ugo as the only two defensive back recruits currently in the Utes class.

Wade Woodaz would be Louisville’s first safety commit
Louisville has only six commits in the 2022 class — and only one player on the defensive side of the ball.
That is Westfield (Ind.) High EDGE Popeye Williams, who is also the top recruit in the Cardinals class.
The small is class is not reason for worry, however. Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield has said he expects only 10 to 12 recruits due to a variety of factors.
Wade Woodaz is one of four safeties offered by Louisville who is uncommitted.
