LSU lands commitment from four-star OT Emanuel Tucker as Tigers track for terrific OL class

New Albany (Miss.) High On300 offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker has committed to LSU.
The four-star prospect chose to play for head coach Brian Kelly, offensive line coach Brad Davis and the Tigers over Ole Miss and Mississippi State among others.
The 6-foot-7, 285-pound Tucker adds to a LSU class that the On3 Industry ranked No. 2 nationally. He took his official visit to Baton Rouge this past weekend.
“LSU, It just fits me,” Tucker told On3. “Death Valley is insane and I can’t wait to play!”
LSU’s track record of developing offensive linemen and playing for Davis was the difference for Tucker who is a former Mississippi State verbal.
“Coach Davis is outstanding,” Tucker said. “He’s like another father figure to me. His development and the relationship between us is great.”
On3 tabs Tucker as the nation’s No. 13 offensive tackle and No. 146 prospect overall. The industry-generated On3 Industry slots him at No. 16 and No. 203.

Tucker adds to an LSU class that also includes four-star offensive tackle Brysten Martinez and interior offensive line prospect Jalan Chapman. The Tigers could end up with the best offensive line class in the country when all said and done.
LSU looking at several more coveted offensive line targets
The Tigers are at the top with Oregon for five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho. The Georgetown Prep blue-chipper was back on campus two weekends ago and they certainly hold the proximity advantage over the Ducks. Penn State and Auburn make up the top four.
This weekend On3 Industry five-star Darius Gray takes his official visit to LSU. The Tigers could be the one to beat there as they battle South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan and others.
Two others LSU has a great chance to land are Laurel (Miss.) West Jones product Bryson Cooley and Prosper (Texas) High’s Zaden Krempin. Cooley visits this weekend and Krempin took his official two weekends ago.
