There will be plenty of offensive fire power on the field Saturday evening when LSU faces Ole Miss.

The matchup features two of the top quarterbacks in the SEC in Jayden Daniels and Jaxson Dart, and both QBs are surrounded by playmakers.

SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow joined SportsCenter Saturday morning and shared which offense he has the most confidence in.

“I have to go with LSU. I know they started slow last week, but they finished — their last six possessions scoring points,” Tebow said. “I mean Jayden Daniels is playing at such a high level, but it’s also because he has two receivers that are dudes. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. – both of those guys in 1-on-1 matchups are nightmares. And so I’ve gotta pick this LSU offense.”

Tebow also likes what he has seen from Ole Miss early on this season, but the receivers on the outside for the Tigers is what pushes LSU over the top.

“I really like what Jaxson Dart is doing at Ole Miss. They have a lot of playmakers. But these two guys, they are different,” Tebow said of Thomas and Nabers. “They are special. When you see them 1-on-1, you say, ‘Oh, thank you lord. We are going at them over and over and over again.’ These guys are big-time playmakers.”

Rece Davis picks LSU to win, cover spread against Ole Miss

Fellow ESPN analyst Rece Davis also offered his thoughts on LSU and Ole Miss.

Davis expects the Tigers to come out on top and cover the spread.

“Ole Miss put so much in the last week,” Davis said. “The disconsolate sound from the players and the coaches afterward about, ‘We thought this was our chance to get Alabama.’ I’m thinking hangover here, plus LSU probably has a better team.

“I’ve been very high on Ole Miss. I thought Ole Miss was going to win last week, but Alabama looked like Alabama and Ole Miss looked too much like Ole Miss. So I’m gonna go with LSU and lay the points.”

According to FanDuel, LSU is a 2.5-point favorite in the matchup. The spread is no surprise. The Rebels enter Saturday off a painful 24-10 loss to Alabama last weekend. In the defeat, the Rebels struggled to establish a run game.

Ole Miss recorded just 56 rushing yards against the Crimson Tide, averaging 1.9 yards per carry. As for LSU, the Tigers are on a three-game win streak since losing to Florida State in their season opener. Nonetheless, LSU’s win in Week 4 wasn’t a breeze.

LSU narrowly defeated Arkansas 34-31 despite boasting the home-field advantage. The Tigers rarely found a stop when necessary, allowing the Razorbacks to convert on 8 of their 13 third-down attempts.
