LSU vs. South Carolina: Offensive player projections for Week 3
A key SEC showdown awaits in Columbia this weekend. LSU and South Carolina will get Week 3 underway, and the offensive player projections are out, according to PrizePicks.
The Gamecocks are riding plenty of momentum after a huge win over Kentucky last week. LaNorris Sellers threw for two touchdowns in the effort as South Carolina’s defense dominated en route to the 31-6 victory.
On the LSU side, Garrett Nussmeier has looked the part after taking over as the starting quarterback this season. In last week’s victory over Nicholls State, he threw for 302 yards and six touchdowns as the Tigers cruised past the Colonels, 44-6.
That sets up a key matchup between LSU and South Carolina in Week 3. The game is generating plenty of buzz with College GameDay in attendance, as well.

Josh Williams, RB, LSU
Rush Yards: 44.5
After John Emery Jr.’s season-ending injury, Josh Williams is now looking to be one of the leaders in the LSU running back room. He ranks second on the roster with 42 yards over two games despite only totaling four carries last week against Nicholls.
Jared Brown, WR, South Carolina
Receiving Yards: 38.5
In last week’s win over Kentucky, Jared Brown led South Carolina with four receptions. He could continue to be a weapon for Sellers, and his projection is set at 38.5 receiving yards against LSU, according to PrizePicks.

Receiving Yards: 43.5
Receptions: 4.0
Considered one of the best tight end prospects in the country, Mason Taylor is playing a strong role in the LSU offense. He still hasn’t reached the end zone, but his 102 receiving yards rank third on the Tigers roster entering Week 3.
Kaleb Jackson, RB, LSU
Rush Yards: 34.5
Another contributor in the LSU running back room, Kaleb Jackson will look to build on his big game against Nicholls. He took a team-high eight carries for 28 yards, and PrizePicks projects his rushing yards at 34.5.
