Malachi Moore injury update: Kalen DeBoer gives latest on Alabama safety
The Alabama Crimson Tide took care of business against the Wisconsin Badgers last weekend, handing them with a 42-10 whipping. They had to deal with some injuries in the game, as Crimson Tide safety Malachi Moore was banged up. On the Wednesday evening version of the Hey Coach! Show with Kalen DeBoer, the Tide head coach updated his status.
“He’ll be back. He’ll be back. I know what you were saying. He left the game vs. Wisconsin. So, good question. He’s been out there working. I can tell just by how you’re asking with a passion you asked the question with. That you understand how important Malachi is to our success,” DeBoer explained.
“You know, it’s not just defensively but it’s our whole team. He just brings that great energy and great vibe to us. He’s one of those guys that, not to go way back, but one of those guys that really set the direction for us back in even January, February, when we were really trying to keep the whole thing together. So, he’s a captain for a reason,” DeBoer explained.
“He’s a team leader. And obviously he makes a lot of really great plays on the football field,” DeBoer finished.
