Seminoles putting together terrific WR class as four-star Malik Clark commits to Florida State
Rock Hill (SC) High On300 receiver Malik Clark announced his commitment to Florida State on Thursday, choosing the Seminoles over his other finalists in North Carolina and South Carolina.
The four-star Clark becomes commit No. 13 for head coach Mike Norvell and his staff, adding to a haul that ranked No. 10 nationally per the On3 Industry prior to his announcement.
“Let’s be honest they are FSU and had a great season last year,” Clark said. “Coach Norvell is the truth.”
Florida State is putting together one of the top receiver classes in the country. The On3 Industry tabs him as the country’s No. 24 receiver and No. 209 prospect overall. He joins a haul that includes Top100 recruits in CJ Wiley and Daylan McCutcheon.

The 6-foot-2 1/2, 180-pound Clark took his official visit to Florida State the weekend of June 14 and raved about the experience.
“The experience was great,” Clark said. “Was a one-of-a-kind was great meeting the people and the coaches. Also the current players and other recruits.
“Coach Norvell is full of energy and very transparent. I like the way it felt like home away from home, and also knowing I have to work and compete to get better and also to get on field. But knowing nothing is handed to no one.
“My kind of place.”
Now it’s his future home.
As a junior Clark caught 35 passes for 679 yards and seven touchdowns.
