Mark Ingram reveals 2025 Final Four picks

Everyone wants to put together a perfect bracket of picks for the NCAA Tournament. However, since nobody has a truly perfect bracket, most people settle for getting as many Final Four picks right as possible. Even some college football analysts like to get in on the action.
Mark Ingram, a former Alabama running back and now an analyst for FOX, shared his Final Four on The Triple Option. There, he leaned into his emotions, picking his school to make a deep March run while also making sure it was clear that he wanted to pick against Alabama’s rivals. That started with picking against Auburn.
“You think I’d choose Auburn out of the South? Hell no,” Ingram said. “We’re going with Michigan State. Sparty all day, every day. Tom Izzo, pops love it, moms love it, grandpa loves it. Rest in peace, Grandpa. Tom Izzo holding it down. We’re going with Sparty out of the South because damn sure ain’t going Auburn, and that’s 1,000.”
Auburn has the 1-seed in that region. However, Michigan State, as the 2-seed, is also a popular Final Four pick. That’s not a surprise given the success that Tom Izzo has had in his career, taking the Spartans to eight different Final Fours. Meanwhile, Bruce Pearl, the Auburn coach, has only been to one back in 2019.
From there, Ingram quickly transitioned to the East, which is where his alma mater Alabama has a two-seed. It’s been an excellent season for the Crimson Tide and, unsurprisingly, Ingram is high on them in the NCAA Tournament.
“Then you go to the East Region,” Ingram said. “You know Cooper Flagg and the Duke fighting Blue Devils, they’ve been balling. But guess who they’re gonna have to meet? The Alabama Crimson Tide. Mark Sears. Mark to Mark, you feel me? Mark’s a baller — Mark Sears. So, we’re going Bama out the East.”

From there, Ingram quickly turned his attention to the West. There, he picked Florida, another SEC school to make the Final Four. After that, his loyalty to Alabama again came out in the Midwest and kept him from picking Tennessee. So, instead, he picked another 1-seed in Houston.
“Then we go down to the West Region. Florida has been balling. Florida has been playing at a high level, dog, Florida has been playing at a high level. So, I’m gonna go Florida. I like them,” Ingram said.
“Then, the Midwest. Houston the No. 1 seed. Tennessee the 2-seed, Kentucky the 3. Lord Jesus, this is fire. But we don’t like no Volunteer. We don’t like no Orange. We don’t like no Volunteer. So, I’m going Houston. That’s my Final Four. Tennessee is like that, for real, but I don’t like them. I can’t give them a berth because I don’t like them.”
Only time will tell just how correct Mark Ingram is with his Final Four picks. However, with the NCAA Tournament tipping off on Thursday, he’s bound to find out sooner rather than later.
