Maryland OL, former LSU transfer Marcus Dumervil re-enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Maryland offensive lineman Marcus Dumervil has re-entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. Dumervil is back in the portal after starting 10 games for the Terrapins in 2024.
He originally signed with LSU as a four-star recruit in the class of 2020 and spent three seasons with the Tigers before transferring to Maryland.
Dumervil started 10 of 12 games for Maryland at left tackle this season, helping the Terrapins average 24 points and 386 yards per game. He is now in the transfer portal and searching for his third school.
Dumervil appeared in 16 games over his three seasons at LSU before transferring to Maryland. He signed with LSU after being ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 16 offensive tackle in the country in the class of 2020, per the On3 Industry Rankings.

Dumervil is originally from Florida. He played high school football at St. Thomas Aquinas.

Edwards is heading to Wisconsin after announcing plans to enter the transfer portal in early December.
Edwards just finished his third season with the Terrapins and his fourth overall in college. He began his career at Wake Forest. After redshirting his lone season with the Demon Deacons, he has thrown for 3,317 yards, with 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in his collegiate career. He has also rushed for 377 yards and 13 scores.
This past season with the Terrapins, Edwards threw for 2,881 yards and 15 touchdowns, with 9 interceptions, in his first year as a starter.
Edwards, a native of Burke, Virginia, played high school football at Lake Braddock. He was the No. 1,497 overall recruit there as a three-star prospect in the 2021 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 99 QB in his class and the No. 42 player out of his state.
