Matt Zenitz earns Don Meyer Leadership Award for December
On3 celebrates a team member each month with the Don Meyer Leadership Award, recognizing the staffer who best demonstrates leadership and achievement within the organization. The recipient is honored within the company and also receives a cash prize. This month, On3 senior national college football reporter, Matt Zenitz, was the clear winner.
Matt has quickly developed into one of the premier news breakers in college sports media. We witnessed the potential in his previous job, and he has been spectacular for On3 this year.
Starting in November (when he was first on the Dan Mullen fired news), Matt has put On3 on the map with his impressive news-breaking.
In December, he continued with big news (Lincoln Riley to USC, Marcus Freeman promoted at Notre Dame, Mario Cristobal official at Miami, Washington State promotes interim coach Jake Dickert), medium-sized news (Oregon hires Tosh Lupoi as DC, Virginia Tech hires Jags TE coach as OC, Alabama CB Josh Jobe has surgery) and lesser-sized-but-still-important news (numerous support staff hires and too many transfer portal entrants to remember).

He is one of the rising stars in media and continues to excel in coaching transactions and transfer portal news. I have worked with very few people that work as hard as Matt Zenitz does 365 days a year.
