North Carolina quarterback Max Johnson suffered a serious injury in the third quarter of their game against Minnesota. On third down, he dropped back to pass, was tackled, and had his knee buckle underneath a defender. Johnson was lying on the ground in pain and had to be tended to by medical staff and trainers. He was seen grabbing his right knee. They eventually brought out the cart for him and had several people helped load him onto the cart. The game was stopped for a few minutes.
