Meet the new 5-stars in the final 2025 On300 rankings
The final 2025 On300 rankings have been released and 32 prospects now hold five-star status.
There’s 10 new names that received the bump compared to the previous ranking back in November. The final update comes after On3’s scouting and rankings team evaluated not only regular season senior year film, but also performances in the playoffs and postseason all-star games and practices.
Below are the 10 new five-stars in the ultimate 2025 On300:
WR Talyn Taylor — Georgia
![Talyn Taylor Georgia](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/06/06095127/Talyn-Taylor-Georgia-1024x538.png)
School: Geneva (Ill.) Community
Previous Ranking: No. 27
New Ranking: No. 22
Scout’s Take: “Talyn Taylor is arguably the most technically skilled wide receiver prospect in the 2025 cycle with a high-end combination of route-running and ball skills. Measured at 6-foot-0.5, 175 pounds with arms in the 31.5 to 32-inch range prior to his senior season, Taylor is a naturally coordinated, functional athlete. He has outstanding change of direction and projects as a dangerous route-runner for Georgia. Very good burst off the line of scrimmage, shifts gears at a high level, hits the brakes and gets corners off balance. Lethal on comeback routes and double moves. He has elite pace in his routes and with the ball in his hands and shows strong hands at the catch point. Has a good feel for finding openings against zone coverage. Crafty after the catch, slipping and spinning out of tackles. Exploded as a senior, turning in one of the best individual seasons nationally at the position.”
CB Ben Hanks III — Florida
![Ben Hanks Florida Gators](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/03/07141428/Ben-Hanks-copy-1-1024x538.jpg)
School: Miami Booker T Washington
Previous Ranking: No. 52
New Ranking: No. 23
Scout’s Take: “Florida cornerback signee Ben Hanks III had a nice week at Navy All-American Bowl practice. Hanks worked as an outside corner and found himself in good position most of the day. The Miami native is a good athlete with outstanding ball skills for the position. Hanks wasn’t targeted a ton at practice for good reason. He locked down his side of the field, was rarely out of position and gave up very few catches on the week. Opposing quarterbacks tended to go away from his side through the first two days. Hanks is a fluid mover with outstanding ball skills, as evidenced by a ridiculous 13 interceptions as a senior. He looks like one of the smoothest cornerbacks on hand.”
EDGE Tylon Lee — Florida State
![ole-miss-hold-onto-tylon-lee](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/12/03102538/Tylon-Lee.jpg)
School: Milton (Fla.) Pace
Previous Ranking: No. 71
New Ranking: No. 24
Scout’s Take: “Tylon Lee is an EDGE defender heading to Florida State that put up ungodly numbers during his senior season collecting 40 tackles-for-loss, 28 hurries and 6 sacks. His production was on another level this past season DOUBLING his tackles-for-loss total from his junior season. And at 6-foot-5.5, 265 pounds with 34-inch arms he possesses an elite frame that plays with an absurd motor. His tenacity and pursuit towards the football is rare and he combines that with tremendous burst and explosiveness off the line of scrimmage. Plus, Lee is a stout run defender that can contain and set the edge with his raw power and has a strong punch at the line of scrimmage. He has one of the highest floors of any prospect in the country and an unlimited ceiling, which is why he earned a 5th star for us at On3.” — On3 National Scout Cody Bellaire
QB Deuce Knight — Auburn
![updated-chances-ole-miss-flip-5-star-qb-deuce-knight](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/11/30075724/Deuce-Knight-1024x538.jpeg)
School: Lucedale (Miss.) George County
Previous Ranking: No. 26
New Ranking: No. 26
Scout’s Take: “Deuce Knight is a big left-handed signal caller who is the top combine athlete at the position in the 2025 cycle. He measured in at 6-foot-4.5, 208 pounds with a 9.75-inch hand at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Knight registers as a truly elite athlete at quarterback and one of the best athletes in the 2025 cycle, regardless of position. He consistently runs in the 4.5 second range at camps and has posted multiple 40+ inch vertical leaps. Knight showed flashes of that athleticism on Friday nights. Capable of tucking the ball and taking it to the house from anywhere on the field, Knight easily eliminates the angles of pursuit defenders as a scrambler and on designed runs. He’s tough to bring down in the backfield with his size and reactive quickness. He touts a strong downfield arm and flashes the ability to stick throws into tight windows over the middle of the field.”
EDGE Hayden Lowe — Miami

School: Los Angeles Oaks Christian
Previous Ranking: No. 284
New Ranking: No. 27
Scout’s Take: “The Navy All-American Bowl provided our first in-person evaluation of Hayden Lowe and the Miami signee looked like one of the top pass rushers on hand. At 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, Lowe has a big frame and looks to have added size over the past year. In addition to the stature, Lowe’s movement skills stood out. He is a twitchy athlete with his first-step quickness creating issues for opposing offensive linemen throughout 1-on-1’s and team periods in practice. Lowe showed some positional versatility throughout the week, lining up at multiple spots along the defensive line. At a position where physical and athletic traits are at a premium, Lowe’s natural gifts stood out in San Antonio.”
IOL Carius Curne — LSU
![elite-lsu-commit-carius-curne-set-to-watch-the-tigers-play-arkansas](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/10/17090311/Carius-Curne-1024x538.jpeg)
School: Marion (Ark.)
Previous Ranking: No. 29
New Ranking: No. 28
Scout’s Take: “One of the most college-ready builds of any prospect along the offensive line in this 2025 cycle belongs to LSU signee Carius Curne. The 6-foot-4, 321 pound interior offensive lineman has such a dense and powerful build combined with impressive twitch and movement skills. The freakish athleticism jumps off the tape as a puller and when working in space. Not to mention, Curne is capable of sticking round-off back handsprings which is simply not normal for a human being weighing nearly 325 pounds. His power and ability to displace defenders in the run game is so dominant it could allow for Curne to walk in and potentially earn a starting role along LSU’s offensive line as a true freshman.” — On3 National Scout Cody Bellaire
TE Andrew Olesh — Penn State

Scout’s Take: “Andrew Olesh is a highly skilled, athletic tight end with a game that should translate to the college and pro levels. He measured in at around 6-foot-5, 220 pounds prior to his senior season, has good length with arms that measure a shade under 33 inches and has big (10 ⅝-inch) hands. Olesh is an explosive athlete who excels in the combine setting, running in the low 4.6 range at college camps. He Has wide receiver skills in a tight end body, lines up split out wide, in-line and even in the backfield for his high school team. He’s an advanced route runner with the ability to create separation with his elite change of direction.
…Olesh breaks off defenders with his ability to shift gears within his routes, has strong ball skills and catches with good technique, framing the ball. He wins in contested catch situations and finishes through contact, is outstanding after the catch. He’s explosive with the ball in his hands and is able to weave through defenses as the second level. Olesh shows the ability with the ball in his hands, ripping off long runs on end-arounds. He also lines up as a punt returner and took one back to the house as a senior.”
DL Isaiah Campbell — Tennessee
![](https://on3static.com/uploads/assets/15/318/318015.jpg)
School: Durham (N.C.) Southern
Previous Ranking: No. 37
New Ranking: No. 30
Scout’s Take: “Isaiah Campbell is a twitched up interior presence who lived in the backfield on Friday nights. He measured at over 6-foot-3 and around 265 pounds, has plus length and a big frame to add plenty of good mass. He’s a top combine athlete who is highly explosive for his size. Campbell shows high-level first-step quickness with the ability to time his initial burst with the snap count and consistently blows up plays behind the line of scrimmage. He shows outstanding closing speed and runs like an EDGE prospect in the body of a defensive lineman. Excellent effort and play speed in pursuit. Campbell will run down plays 20 to 30 yards downfield.”
S Trey McNutt — Oregon
School: Shaker Heights (Ohio)
Previous Ranking: No. 33
New Ranking: No. 31
Scout’s Take: “Trey McNutt has one of the most well-rounded skillsets of any back-half defender in the country. His fluidity and foot speed were on display during the week of Navy All-American Bowl practice. McNutt showed smooth hips during drills and held up in man coverage during 1-on-1’s, mirroring receivers and making plays at the catch point. He was instinctive during team periods of practice, closing on the ball and coming down with an interception and a few pass breakups. McNutt looked loose and free during the game, making multiple plays on the ball at the catch point and tackles in space. The Oregon signee has the physical tools and athletic ability to be a three-dimensional safety at the next level.”
LB Elijah Barnes — Texas
![Elijah Barnes](https://on3static.com/uploads/dev/assets/cms/2024/04/07103751/Untitled-design-2024-04-07T103744.457-1024x538.png)
School: Dallas Skyline
Previous Ranking: No. 34
New Ranking: No. 32
Scout’s Take: “Elijah Barnes is a true mike linebacker with a coveted combination of size, speed, physicality and effort level at the position. He measured in at 6-foot-1, 230 pounds prior to his senior year and has plus length with 32.25-inch arms. Barnes is a strong athlete and one of the faster top linebackers in the 2025 cycle with a 10.96-second 100 meter mark. The outstanding size-speed combo shows up on Friday nights. He’s a menace when working downhill, flows to the ball at high speed and closes quickly. He finishes with physicality, typically tackling with good form and his length aids in his tackling ability.
…Disruptive as a blitzer and pass rusher. He finishes plays behind the line of scrimmage at a high rate and looks to diagnose and key well. Barnes’ motor runs hot, he makes a bunch of second effort plays and runs sideline to sideline. Very productive as a senior, tallying 110 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 6 sacks and an interception while playing strong competition. Has the makings of a future defensive captain and signal caller.”
