For the 2024 season, Virgil earned Second-Team All-MAC honors.
The 2024 season was an excellent one for Miami (Ohio). The RedHawks went 8-4 during the regular season, making it to the MAC Championship Game where they would lose to the Ohio Bobcats. They were able to do that despite a difficult non-conference schedule that included three Power Four opponents. They would go on to finish the regular season on a seven-game winning streak. Now, the RedHawks are preparing to play Colorado State in the Arizona Bowl.
This has been part of a strong run for Miami (Ohio) under head coach Chuck Martin. Last season, the RedHawks won 11 games and the conference championship. So, the past couple of seasons have been excellent for Miami (Ohio).
Reginald Virgil will have one season of eligibility remaining when he lands at his next school.
