Michigan commit Myles Pollard likes what he sees in the Wolverines this season
Ravenwood (Tenn.) cornerback Myles Pollard committed to Michigan over schools like Auburn and Oklahoma early in June and he still feels good about that decision.
“My commitment to Michigan is very strong,” Pollard said. “They are playing really good this season, they have the best atmosphere, and coach (Steve) Clinkscale is really a coach I want to play for.
“There are a lot of reasons I am strong to Michigan. It is just a great program and coach Jim Harbaugh has them playing at a very high level this season.
“It is exciting to watch them play and know I will be there in the future.”
Pollard took in his first game in the Big House earlier this season when Michigan hosted Washington. He couldn’t even put into words what he saw in Ann Arbor.
“I can’t describe the atmosphere to be honest. I have never seen anything like it before. It was 112,000 fans all in maize cheering for the team on every play.
“It is the best atmosphere in college football and it was exactly what I expected. The fans were loud and crazy. It was awesome.”
Michigan’s performance has been impressive to Pollard
That crowd has had a lot to cheer for this season. Harbaugh has Michigan off to a 5-0 record, the Wolverines are ranked in the top 10, and Pollard likes what he sees in the team.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
“The team is playing together and they are playing really well every week,” Pollard said. “I have heard the coaches talk about the successful off-season, and I think that has a lot to do with the success this season.
“Coach Harbaugh has them playing strong now and it shows that the whole team has bought in. It is fun to watch.”
Pollard said schools like Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington are still recruiting him, but he is strong with the Wolverines.
“Everything is still great with Michigan and we talk every day. Coach Clinkscale, coach Harbaugh, and really the entire defensive staff checks up on me, sees how my family is, and they are show me great support.
“I am still strong with my commitment and I love what the team is doing this season.”
