Michigan expected to hire Chris Partridge as assistant coach

Michigan is expected to hire Chris Partridge as an assistant coach, sources tell On3.
Partridge, who was Ole Miss’ defensive coordinator in 2022, previously worked at Michigan from 2015-19.
Partridge, who built Paramus Catholic into a national high school power as the team’s head coach from 2010-14, originally Jim Harbaugh’s staff at Michigan as the team’s director of player personnel before transitioning to special teams coordinator and linebackers coach in 2016 and then from linebackers coach to safeties coach in 2018.
Partridge left for Ole Miss in 2020, serving as co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach prior to his promotion to defensive coordinator, but he’s now set to return to Ann Arbor.
