Michigan OT signee Andrew Babalola ranked No. 14 in final 2025 On300 rankings
To protect incoming elite quarterback Bryce Underwood, Michigan went and secured one of the best offensive tackles in the class of 2025. Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest OT Andrew Babalola is a five-star prospect ranked No. 14 overall in the final 2025 On300 rankings on Thursday.
The final edition of the 2025 On300 features 32 five-star prospects, up from 25 in the previous update in November.
Babalola’s recruitment was a quiet one. He largely kept his thoughts close to the vest — until he committed to the Wolverines on Oct. 21, choosing Michigan over the likes of Stanford and Auburn. Michigan was a constant contender throughout Babalola’s process due to its combination of academic and athletic success.
“The reason why Michigan won out overall is I believe in coach Moore’s vision. Obviously, it’s tough sledding right now, but overall I love that program,” Babalola told On3 upon announcing his commitment. “Love the coaches, the players, the recruiting class. It just came down to me believing in coach Moore and believing in Michigan. I can’t wait to be a part of the family.”

Babalola brings a physical presence to Ann Arbor
The 6-foot-5.5, 295-pound Babalola participated in the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio earlier this month. He stood out as a top performer during the second day of practice.
“Andrew Babalola was a standout during the West’s morning practice,” National Scout Cody Bellaire wrote. “The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder looks to have settled in and had some excellent reps during the 1-on-1 period. Babalola had a sensational rep against 2026 pass rusher Jamarion Carlton, showing the ability to quickly reset and drop the anchor on contact. He later flashed physicality during the joint practice, serving up an emphatic pancake, pushing the defensive end 5 to 10 yards off the ball before driving him into the turf.
“The combination of movement skills and physicality Babalola showed on Wednesday was an encouraging sign from the high-upside tackle.”
