Michigan continues to heat up on the recruiting trail, with four-star St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet EDGE Titan Davis announcing his commitment to the Wolverines on Monday.

The 6-foot-4, 262-pounder chose U-M over Alabama, as well as more than 25 other reported offers. He took his official visit with the Crimson Tide earlier this month before giving the Wolverines the final spot on his calendar. And a little more than 24 hours after returning home, he added his name to the Wolverines’ commit list.

Michigan was the full package, and checked every one of he and his family’s boxes.

“Overall culture there it’s hard to beat that’s for sure,” his mother Jessica Johnson told On3’s Steve Wiltfong this spring. “You can feel those people are genuine.”

That visit in particular really moved the needle in Michigan’s favor as they battle Alabama, Penn State, Missouri, and others at the time.

“At the end of the day you want to be around people that care about Titan Davis the person,” she added. “One thing that stood out about the visit we haven’t experience elsewhere is the fellowship. They took the time for the coaches and staff to let their hair down and enjoy people for who they are.”

Davis is the No. 104 overall prospect and No. 9 DL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Missouri.

As a junior for DeSmet, Davis logged 46 total tackles and nine sacks. The Spartans won 14 games and a state title, finishing as the No. 15 team in Missouri, per the On3 Composite Rankings.
