More on Michigan vs. Penn State

Michigan and Penn State’s game Sunday is the second matchup between the two schools this season. They had previously played on Jan. 4 in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines won that game 79-69 behind a well-balanced attack. Six different Michigan players scored at least eight points with four starters all in double figures.

But the Wolverines enter Sunday’s game coming off a loss to top-ranked Purdue without Jett Howard. Howard injured his ankle last Sunday against Minnesota and did not play against the Boilermakers. He is a game-time decision against the Nittany Lions.

Penn State is also looking to start a new win streak after losing badly to Rutgers on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights blew the Nittany Lions out by 20 points in New Jersey. The team shot only 33.3% from the field and a dismal 4 of 26 from beyond the 3-point line.
