Milton High claimed its first Georgia state title since 2018 last season, pulling off a stunning run in the 7A playoffs.

Headlined by a slew of seniors committed to SEC and ACC programs, the Eagles are on a mission to repeat in 2024. Another challenging schedule awaits, however.

Nine matchups against the Peach State’s finest and an early-season clash against one of the top programs in Florida are on the docket for head coach Ben Reaves Jr. and his roster. The Eagles’ first two games of the year will perhaps be their toughest, as they open against Buford (Ga.) on Aug. 16 before heading to the Sunshine State to take on American Heritage (Fla.) on Aug. 23.

Eagles return state title offense in 2024

Every major program in Georgia is riddled with talent and that’s no different for Milton once again this season. Much of the power that led the Eagles to the top of the mountain a season ago is back and ready for more in 2024.
