Illinois OT Kaveon Lee commits to Minnesota

Plainfield (Ill.) Central 2025 offensive tackle Kaveon Lee tells On3 that he has committed to Minnesota. The Gophers offered him September.

On3 ranks the 6-foot-6, 280-pound Lee as the nation’s No. 31 offensive tackle.

“I felt the love they showed me when I first got there,” Lee said. He chose the Gophers over offers from Purdue, Kansas State and West Virginia.

“The consistency they been having over the years and this season,” Lee said. “I also like how they develop their offensive lineman.”

Lee becomes commit No. 21 for head coach PJ Fleck and the Gophers in the 2025 class.
