The Friday injury report for one of the biggest games of the college football weekend is out. No. 9 Missouri and No. 25 Texas A&M have released where things stand from an injury standpoint ahead of Saturday’s only top-25 matchup of the college football weekend.

The report includes the latest on Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman, who has missed three straight games with a shoulder injury.

Weigman is listed as questionable in the injury report on Friday night. He was listed as questionable on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Aggies players who have already been confirmed to be out this weekend include running back Rueben Owens, defensive back Tyreek Chappell, offensive lineman Mark Nabou Jr. and offensive lineman TJ Shanahan.

As for Missouri, the Tigers are mostly healthy. Only EDGE Darris Smith and reserve quarterback Sam Horn are confirmed to be out for Saturday’s SEC showdown. Wide receiver Marquis Johnson is listed as questionable.

Texas A&M has also won four straight although losing their first of the fall. That includes a 2-0 start to league play with a 13-point win at Florida and a four-point victory over Arkansas this past weekend.

Mike Elko provided an update on Conner Weigman and how he is doing earlier this week.

“He’s now throwing,” Elko said. “We’re able to get him out there and functioning a little bit, which is good. He will be a game-time decision this week.”

From a pure depth chart perspective, Weigman has remained at the top. Reed has been listed as the backup but Weigman’s injury has kept him out there. A ton of success has followed for Texas A&M, winning three straight Reed starts, two of which were against SEC foes.

And while Elko lists Weigman as a game-time decision, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz does not expect to see the quarterback out there. Reed has had so much success for the Aggies, Drinkwitz expects him to be out there, no matter Weigman’s health status.
