Ahead of the 2024 offseason, college football programs across the country are still working on pinning down their staff for next season. Recently, in the SEC, there has been plenty of coaching movement, and the Missouri Tigers have added to that ongoing activity trend.

According to Matt Zenitz, the Tigers are expected to commandeer the services of Florida State staffer Cooper Williams and bring him on as an offensive line graduate assistant. Williams has been a part of the Seminoles staff for two years, serving under head coach Mike Norvell. He is also a former collegiate offensive lineman who suited up for the Memphis Tigers.

Williams had served under Norvell since 2018, when he first entered the Florida State program in an analyst role. Prior to that, he was a student assistant for the Tigers after graduating in 2017 following a three-year stint in their program. At Memphis, Williams helped the Tigers reach a bowl game in the three years he suited up and played.

Missouri adds Zion Young out of the transfer portal

After entering the NCAA transfer portal last month, former Michigan State EDGE Zion Young has decided to take his talents to Athens, committing to Missouri.

Young joins the Tigres after spending the past two seasons at Michigan State, where he recorded 47 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in his 20 games played.

Young played high school football at Westlake (GA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,048 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
