Cleveland Heights four-star running back Marquise Davis has flipped his commitment from Kentucky to Missouri, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

He was pledged to the Wildcats since May 1, but is now set to head to Columbia, adding to a top-20 recruiting class under Eli Drinkwitz and Co.

Davis is the No. 193 overall prospect and No. 14 RB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 7 player in Ohio.

On3 ranks Davis higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as the No. 148 recruit, No. 7 RB and No. 6 player in Ohio in the 2025 On300.

UK has now lost two 2025 commitments this weekend. Earlier on Sunday, three-star interior offensive lineman Tucker Kattus flipped his pledge to Clemson. Davis was the top-ranked prospect on Mark Stoops’ pledge list.

Mizzou adds big piece to 2025 recruiting class

With the addition of Davis, Mizzou now has two running backs in its 2025 class, as he flanks four-star Jamarion Morrow, who has been in the fold since June. Davis is commitment No. 17 overall for Drinkwitz and the Tigers.

Five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers continues to headline the class, though Texas A&M is pushing hard to flip him ahead of National Signing Day. Rogers is the No. 18 overall prospect.

Four-star quarterback Matt Zollers was the first prospect to commit this cycle and is now the No. 49 recruit and No. 9 QB in the On300. He chose Mizzou over Penn State, Georgia and Pitt.

“My commitment to Missouri is strong of my relationship with all the coaches there. It is especially strong with coach Drink (Eli Drinkwitz) and coach Moore. Those just very very good and I feel very comfortable there,” Zollers told On3 last month.

Four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode is just outside the top 100 nationally. Four-star interior offensive lineman Jack Lange is the top-ranked player in the Show-Me State. Other top commits in the class include: four-star EDGE Daeden Hopkins, four-star linebacker Dante McClellan, four-star IOL Keiton Jones and three-star safety Charles Bass.
