We have a national champion in college baseball. LSU took down the Florida Gators, ending what was a memorable College World Series in Omaha. Stars were on the field nearly every game, especially when the Tigers were playing. A blowout win in the deciding game really showcased their power.

Now, LSU’s two stars are expected to go No. 1 and No. 2 overall in the upcoming MLB Draft. MLB Pipeline released its latest mock draft following the CWS, having outfielder Dylan Crews and right-handed pitcher Paul Skenes as the top two picks. There will be plenty of debate as to who deserves the top spot but either way, it should be a Tiger sweep.

Plenty of other college names are littered throughout the first round as well. High school talent is something that will attract MLB talent, hoping to convince players to forgo college. However, the college game is only getting stronger and should be well-represented come draft night on July 9.
