Montana State OL Conner Moore plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Montana State offensive lineman Conner Moore is planning to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced Tuesday afternoon on Twitter.
Moore was named first-team All-Big Sky this season after spending time at both guard and tackle in 2024. He helped Montana State reach the FCS national championship game.
Conner Moore is entering the transfer portal after spending three seasons at Montana State. He was also a starter for the Bobcats in 2023, starting all 12 games at left tackle, while earning Freshman All-American honors.
He is sure to attract some attention out of the transfer portal. Moore wrote a statement announcing his decision to leave Montana State.
“After careful consideration I have decided to enter the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining,” Conner Moore posted on Twitter. “I want to take a moment to thank my coaches, teammates, and Bobcat Nation for the incredible experience.
“My time here has been filled with personal growth, unforgettable memories, and lifelong friendships. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a special program and will cherish my time here at Montana State.
“I look forward to what the future holds and appreciate all the support I have received along the way!!”

Conner Moore helped Montana State to special 2024 season
The 2024 season was an incredible one for Conner Moore and Montana State. The Bobcats advanced all the way to the FCS national championship game before falling to North Dakota State Monday night.
Along the way in the FCS playoffs, Montana State beat UT Martin, Idaho and South Dakota.
The Bobcats were a perfect 15-0 entering the national title game, but they dug themselves an early hole against North Dakota State.
NDSU jumped out to a 21-3 halftime lead, which ultimately proved to be too much to overcome.
Montana State did battle back and cut the North Dakota State lead to 28-25 early in the fourth quarter, but the Bobcats ended up running out of time.
Still, it was a special season for Montana State, and Conner Moore was a big part of that.
