Multiple high majors are already prioritizing '25 Jackson Keith
Jackson Keith is trending as one of the top 2025 prospects in the Carolinas. This high school season, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard averaged 16.5 points and 7.4 rebounds.
“I get to my spots, can play both ends,” Keith told On3. “I watch a lot of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard; smooth two-way players.”
College coaches noticed his season at Durham (NC) Southern Durham High. On3 caught up with Jackson Keith at the Josh Level Classic to talk about the early stages of his recruitment.
“I have offers from Illinois, Texas A&M, NC A&T, Mississippi State, and Radford,” Keith said. “I am going to try to get up to Illinois this summer. I’d like to see Arkansas and NC A&T too.”
Keith talks recruitment
Illinois: “We built a great relationship. They reached out to my family and me on Mother’s Day, and it showed us they really care. We are trying to set up a visit this summer so I can see the campus.”

Texas A&M: “I watched them a lot this season; they were an entertaining team to watch. I think I fit in with them because they like athletic wings that can handle, shoot, and pass. Their defensive intensity is crazy to me.”
Mississippi State: “I just recently got the offer from them, so I am still getting to know them. But they told me they love guys with high character, and they love that about me.”
Keith’s take
“I’m going to be looking for a family culture,” Keith said. “I want to see how they will be looking to play me and see how the players interact and the coaches. Location won’t matter to me; as long as they want to improve my game and let me be a part of a willing culture, I’m all in.”
On3’s take
Jackson Keith is a confident wing. Standing around 6-foot-5, he can handle, get into his spots, and shoot with range. The jump shot can get a little flat at times, but he has good footwork in the mid-range. He is confident as a secondary initiator and can get a team into sets. Keith is a solid athlete, still growing into his frame. He is trending as a national level-type recruit.
