Multiple schools ‘are coming after’ 2026 WR Steele Ingram

Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb wide receiver Steele Ingram visited Coastal Carolina during the season. He is communicating with the Chanticleers, as well as Kansas State and Memphis among other schools.
“Kansas State, Memphis and Coastal Carolina are the top three schools that are coming after me the most,” Ingram told On3.
“I know a good amount about Memphis,” he added. “They have a really good receiving corps and they’ve had a really good one the last five years. I like receivers coach Larry Smith. Then at Coastal Carolina, I have a really good relationship with wide receivers coach Perry Parks and head coach Tim Beck. They’re offering me the opportunity to be a dual-sport athlete, so I could play football and baseball there. I have a really good relationship with them.”
The opportunity to play both baseball and football in college is something that Ingram will consider. In the meantime, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound wideout is planning visits to Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee. The in-state Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets are showing interest in Ingram and he is hoping to receive offers from them in the future.

“I’ve been talking to Georgia Tech for a long time,” Ingram said. “I also talk to wide receivers coach James Coley at Georgia a good amount.”
Ingram still has a long time remaining in his recruitment. Yet he already knows what is most important to him in a school.
“I am looking at the culture around the place where the school is, how the fans are and how the team interacts with the fans,” Ingram said. “If a school has a good relationship with the fans, a lot of people are going to come to games and you’re usually going to win a lot of games. I want to have a good relationship with the coaches and also, have a chance to go play my freshman year.”
