It is still extremely early in the recruitment of DeSoto (Texas) wide receiver Ethan Feaster. Yet he has already caught the attention of some of the top programs in college football, as he holds over 40 offers.

LSU, Oregon, TCU and USC along with Baylor are five schools that have already impressed Feaster. The 6-foot-2, 182-pound wideout has visited each of these programs except for the Ducks.

“Coaches like that as a freshman, I am not scared to block,” Feaster told On3. “I block downfield for the running backs. They also like that I understand the game and schemes.”

Feaster, who previously visited LSU last summer, has bonded with multiple staffers at the aforementioned schools. They include Tigers co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton, Oregon co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Junior Adams and TCU assistant head coach/outside receivers coach Malcolm Kelly.

Feaster talks why he’s high on LSU, Oregon, TCU and USC

LSU: “I like the offensive scheme and coach Hankton. I love coach Hankton. The type of receiver that he produces is the type of receiver that I believe I am. He was at Georgia when George Pickens was there and George Pickens loved to block. I feel like that’s the type of receiver I am. I love to block. I’m not scared to be physical and I feel like I’m a deep threat. That’s one thing that coach Hankton is big on, deep threat receivers. That’s one reason why LSU is really high for me.”

Oregon: “I love their coaches. I love coach Adams, who has been there a couple of years. A lot of coaches, they don’t stay at one school for a long time, but he’s been there for a little while. I feel like he should stay up there.”

TCU: “I like TCU because of the receivers coach. I love coach Kelly and the type of receiver that he produces. He had Cordale Russell, a great big-bodied receiver, there. Coach Kelly’s produced some big-bodied receivers like Cordale, Jordan Hudson and Quentin Johnston.”

USC: “If I was to commit to USC, I’d know that I’m going to have a great quarterback no matter what because Lincoln Riley is there.”
