The first day of the early signing period is here! It will run through the 16th, however, the majority of committed players are expected to sign today, the ninth.

Kentucky signs 5-stars Rob Dillingham and Justin Edwards
7:09 p.m. Wednesday — It’s official. Kentucky has signed two of its three five-stars in Rob Dillingham and Justin Edwards.
Aaron Bradshaw is expected to sign later this week.
UK is also the favorite to land DJ Wagner, who may or may not sign during the early period.
5-star PG Caleb Foster signs with Duke
6:03 p.m. Wednesday — 2023 five-star Caleb Foster has officially signed with Duke. Foster was the first 2023 prospect to commit to the Blue Devils back in September of 2021.
Top-25 recruit TJ Power signs with Duke
5:51 p.m. Wednesday — On3 Consensus four-star recruit TJ Power has made it official, signing his National Letter of Intent to Duke.
The 6-foot-8 power forward from Shrewsbury (Mass.) Worcester Academy committed to the Blue Devils back in September, beating out the likes of North Carolina, Virginia, Iowa, and others.
Power was Duke’s fifth and final addition to their 2023 recruiting class. He joins On3 Consensus five-star’s Jared McCain, Caleb Foster, Sean Stewart, and Mackenzie Mgbako.
Duke signs 5-star guard Jared McCain, a social media sensation
4:15 p.m. Wednesday — Five-star recruit Jared McCain inked the dotted line on Wednesday afternoon, signing his NLI with the Blue Devils.
He ranks as the No. 18 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.
McCain currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $993,000, which ranks 4th overall in high school basketball.
The future Blue Devil boasts a whopping 2.2 million followers across his social medias.
Kentucky signs legacy recruit Reed Sheppard
3:56 p.m. Wednesday — Four-star recruit Reed Sheppard made it official and signed with the Kentucky Wildcats today.
He ranks as the No. 31 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.
Sheppard was raised in a ‘Kentucky Wildcats home’. His father, Jeff Sheppard, was a two-time national champion with the Wildcats (1996, 1998), and later went on to play professionally briefly. His mother, Stacey Reed Sheppard, finished as a top-10 all-time leading scorer for the Wildcats.

2:00 p.m. Wednesday — All four of Alabama’s commits have now signed: four-star forward Sam Walters (No. 92), four-star forward Mouhamed Dioubate (No. 96), four-star guard Davin Cosby (No. 97), and three-star guard R.J. Johnson (No. 202).
Baylor signs two top-30 commits
1:00 p.m. Wednesday — Scott Drew and Baylor have officially signed a two-man class, highlighted by five-star shooting guard Ja’Kobe Walter (No. 15) and four-star point guard Miro Little (No. 29).
The Bears currently have the No. 5 ranked recruiting class and they might not be done yet.
Montverde Academy’s seniors make it official
12:30 p.m. Wednesday — Powerhouse Montverde Academy has signed each of their five seniors:
- 5-star Sean Stewart (Duke) No. 9 overall
- 5-star Kwame Evans Jr. (Oregon) No. 11 overall
- 4-star Chris Johnson (Kansas) No. 37 overall
- 4-star Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn (Illinois) No. 84 overall
- 4-star Marvel Allen (Georgetown) No. 85 overall
North Carolina signs Zayden High, Oregon signs Mookie Cook
12:15 p.m. Wednesday — AZ Compass Prep high school teammates Zayden High (North Carolina) and Mookie Cook (Oregon) have both signed their National Letter of Intents.
Michigan State officially signs its entire four-man class
10:30 a.m. Wednesday — Michigan State has inked all four signatures to their 2023 recruiting class: Xavier Booker (No. 7), Jeremy Fears (No. 38), Coen Carr (No. 52), and Gehrig Normand (No. 63).
The Spartans currently have the No. 4 ranked recruiting class in the country, only behind Kentucky, Duke, and Oregon.
Tom Izzo has completed in his best recruiting class in a decade.
Four-star guard Freddie Diliione signs with ‘Vols
10:00 a.m. Wednesday — Four-star point guard Freddie Dilione has officially signed with Tennessee. The ‘Vols beat out Alabama, Wake Forest, Virignia, and others for the North Carolina native.

Ohio State signs four-star Devin Royal
10:00 a.m. Wednesday — Four-star forward Devin Royal has made it officially official with the Ohio State Buckeyes, signing his NLI Wednesday morning.
The 6-foot-6 Ohio native ranks as the No. 42 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. On3’s evaluators are much higher on Royal, ranking him 26th overall in the country.
Royal committed to the Buckeyes in August over Michigan State, Marquette, Penn State, Alabama, and others.
Michigan State signs their highest-rated recruit in the last 20 years in Xavier Booker
9:28 a.m. Wednesday — Signed. Sealed. Delivered. Five-star big man Xavier Booker has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to Michigan State.
The 6-foot-10 native of Indiana ranks as the No. 7 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.
Booker committed to the Spartans back in July, beating out the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Cincinnati.

Tennessee signs Top-40 big man JP Estrella
9:00 a.m. Wednesday — Four-star power forward JP Estrella has officially signed the dotted line to play for Rick Barnes at the University of Tennessee.
The 6-foot-11 big man from Maine ranks as the No. 36 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. On3’s evaluators are even higher on him, ranking him 21st nationally.
Estrella committed to the ‘Vols back in September over Syracuse and Iowa. He also received offers from Duke, UConn, and others.

Iowa State signs the program’s highest ranked recruit in program history
8:43 a.m. Wednesday — Five-star power forward Omaha Biliew has made it official with Iowa State, signing his National Letter of Intent with the Cyclones.
The 6-foot-8 Iowa native is ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies.
Biliew committed to Iowa State back in July over Kansas and Oregon.
