The big day is finally here — National Signing Day has arrived.

The majority of the country’s top football recruits will sign with their school of choice over the next 72 hours. More than 90 percent of the top-300 prospects in the On3 Consensus are already committed, but a handful of five-stars are set to make their decisions in the next few days. Add on to that the potential flips and decommitments we could see, and as it always is, signing day should be long on drama and excitment.

On3 is covering it from wall-to-wall, with national reporters and fan sites alike. Follow along with the live blog below for the latest.

5-star WR Jurrion Dickey signs with Oregon

Palo Alto (Calif.) Menlo-Atherton five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey previously announced the delay of his signing. Oregon fans had no need to worry.

Palo Alto (Calif.) Menlo-Atherton five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey has been committed to Oregon since May 2. On National Signing Day, he delayed his signing and shared that another announcement will be coming soon.

Meanwhile, the Ducks had one of the best days of any team on the recruiting trail. They landed commitments from multiple five-stars (defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei and safety Peyton Bowen), found their quarterback of the future (four-star quarterback Austin Novosad) and flipped two top-300 players (four-star cornerback Daylen Austin and four-star running back Jayden Limar).

National Signing Day Winners

It was a good day for numerous programs. Alabama added two more five-stars. Oregon flipped multiple top-200 recruits. Georgia notched a five-star pass rusher.

Many schools found success on the recruiting trail today. As a result, Keegan Pope discusses who won National Signing Day.

Superlatives for 2023 quarterbacks

There are numerous talented quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power gave out superlatives for multiple signal-callers.

Alabama holds big lead for nation’s No. 1 class

Alabama had one of the best recruiting classes in the 2023 cycle heading into National Signing Day. It got even better when the Crimson Tide landed commitments from five-star linebacker Qua Russaw and five-star defensive lineman James Smith, teammates at Montgomery (Ala.) Carver.

Head coach Nick Saban and his staff now have pledges from six five-star recruits. Keegan Pope breaks down Alabama’s success on the recruiting trail.

On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings Update

Jayden Limar flips as Notre Dame loses another recruit to the Ducks

Oregon has now flipped two players from Notre Dame today as Lake Stevens (Wash.) four-star running back Jayden Limar has flipped his commitment.

Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen made the same decision earlier today as the Ducks have landed six players today.

They are up to No. 7 in the recruiting rankings.

Texas beats Oklahoma for Tausili Akana, jumps to No. 4 in recruiting rankings

Skyridge (Utah) four-star EDGE Tausili Akana has committed to Texas, giving the Longhorns another elite prospect in their top-five recruiting class.

Texas actually jumped Ohio State to take the No. 4 spot in the . The 2023 Longhorns class has three five-stars and nine total players ranked in the top 102 of the On3 Consensus.

Damon Wilson commits to Georgia

Venice (Fla.) EDGE five-star Damon Wilson has committed to Georgia, choosing the Bulldogs over Ohio State.

Wilson is the No. 4 recruit in the On300.

“What it really came down to was the scheme,” he told On3. “Ohio State and Georgia, they don’t really have guys right now that I would play like or be like them. So it was kind of hard to understand because I’d kind of be playing a new position. But having the coaches there to explain it to me and how I’d fit with the deciding factor. I want to fit into the scheme; I don’t want to just be another player on the roster.”

For more on Wilson’s commitment, Chad Simmons has the scoop here.

Washington, Miami land highly-rated defensive backs

Two of the top uncommitted defensive backs just came off the board in Sammamish (Wash.) Rainier Beach four-star cornerback Caleb Presley and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage four-star cornerback Damari Brown.

Brown has committed to Miami, the local school in his recruitment. And Presley has done the same, flipping his commitment from Oregon to Washington.

“Honestly, there’s nothing like staying home and being with your family,” Presley told On3. “I feel like being in front of my family just gives me that edge over my competition, cause I go harder when my family’s all around me. Staying home, I felt like it was a no-brainer for me just because I feel like I have a support system here and I can leave my legacy in the state of Washington.”

Deion Sanders tried to flip Hykeem Williams

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) five-star wide receiver Hykeem Williams signed his National Letter of Intent with little fanfare today.

But according to 247 Sports, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders reached out to Williams before he signed — but Williams wasn’t interested.

“Ain’t no Travis Hunter over here,” Williams said on Instagram Live after signing. “We locked in. Time to work.”

Dante Moore signs with UCLA

Just a few days after pulling off one of the most notable flips of the 2023 cycle, Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore has signed with UCLA.

Moore is the No. 9 overall prospect and No. 4 quarterback in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus.

He is the highest-rated quarterback prospect Chip Kelly has ever signed.

Alabama has six 5-star commits

Alabama now has six commits from five-star players in the 2023 cycle following the commitments of Montgomery (Ala.) Carver five-star teammates James Smith and Qua Russaw. No other team has more than three.

The Crimson Tide’s lead in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings is at nearly two full points. If the top spot wasn’t somehow already locked up, it is now.

5-star teammates Qua Russaw, James Smith commit to Alabama

Montgomery (Ala.) Carver five-star teammates James Smith and Qua Russaw have always played on committing together.

That wish came true Wednesday as they both committed to in-state Alabama.

“It was pretty big, making the decision with your teammate and your brother that you’ve done everything with,” Russaw told On3. “We’ve been through a lot with each other, and it means a lot. I know I’ve got a lot of support behind me, lot of people going to lift me up. And it’s going to be a hard-working journey.”

4-star Micah Tease commits to Texas A&M

Texas A&M has landed a commitment from Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star athlete Micah Tease.

Neeo Avery flips to Maryland

Glen Burnie (Md.) Good Counsel four-star EDGE Neeo Avery has made a surprising flip from Maryland from Ole Miss.

Avery did tweet out his decision. Instead the move was announced by the Terrapins’ Twitter account.

Maryland is shaping up to be a potential sneaky winner from today, flipping both Avery and Knightdale (N.C.) Rolesville three-star safety Tamarcus Cooley.

Adam Hopkins commits to Colorado

There’s been no more word on Cormani McClain to Colorado since this morning’s news, but Deion Sanders has just landed a top-300 recruit.

Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central four-star wide receiver Adam Hopkins has committed to the Buffaloes.

Hopkins is the No. 268 overall prospect and No. 35 wide receiver in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Georgia gets Kyron Jones

Georgia has landed a commitment from Charlotte (N.C.) Charlotte Christian three-star athlete Kyron Jones, a former NC State pledge.

“I felt like this would be the best place to grow and get me ready for the future I want to have athletically and academically,” Jones said.

On3’s Chad Simmons has more here.

Oregon now has the No. 1 Pac-12 recruiting class

With its two flips and one commit this morning, Oregon has jumped six spots from No. 14 to No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.

The Ducks landed three of their top four commits today in Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco five-star defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei and Dripping Springs (Texas) four-star quarterback Austin Novosad.

DeAndre Moore ‘likely not’ to sign today

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons has reported Los Alamitos (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore — a Louisville commit and Texas target — will not sign his National Letter of Intent today.

“Texas has tried to flip him. There’s been some confidence in Austin that he would flip to Texas today. But there’s a lot of depth to this commitment here for DeAndre Moore,” Simmons said on On3’s National Signing Day Show

Oregon lands another 5-star in Matayo Uiagalelei

It is barely past noon on the East Coast but Oregon is the runaway front-runner for National Signing Day winner.

The Ducks have now landed Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco five-star defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei, just minutes after Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen.

The two five-star commits have vaulted the Oregon recruiting class to No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking after starting the day outside the top 10.

Peyton Bowen makes shocking flip to Oregon

Oregon is having itself a day in the Lone Star State.

After flipping Dripping Springs (Texas) four-star quarterback Austin Novosad earlier in the day, the Ducks have now flipped Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen as well.

Malachi Coleman returns to Nebraska

Matt Rhule has snagged his big first win as Nebraska‘s head coach as Lincoln (Neb.) Lincoln East four-star athlete Malachi Coleman has re-committed to the school.

It wasn’t a sure thing as Colorado made a strong push for Nebraska’s No. 1 player but Rhule and Huskers hold off the Buffaloes.

The story of Tyler Trent moved the nation a few years ago when the Purdue student inspired the Boilermakers during a magical 2018 season.
