The NCAA Tournament Selection Show is finally here, as the top teams in college basketball wait to hear their name called and fans await the intricate list of matchups the committee will announce.

The Selection Committee evaluates the overall body of work of each team, splitting them into 32 automatic bids and 36 at-large bids. From there, they use the NET rankings, eye test and more to determine where each team should be placed in the field.

The NCAA Tournament “bubble” refers to the teams on the edge of a bid, which may or may not receive a bid. This season, following an abnormal number of bid stealers shaking up the conversation.

On3’s final edition of bracketology, projecting the field, can be found here.
