With the NFL Draft just weeks away, the 32 teams that make up the league are all piecing together their draft boards and focusing in on the players they’d like to have in their organization. Looking specifically at the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Tomlin’s club needs to draft a couple of guys that can make an impact sooner than later.

While the Steelers have the No. 20 and No. 52 overall picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, they’ll have some strong options to consider choosing from. With longtime quarterback Ben Roethlisberger now retired, Pittsburgh is tasked with finding a long-term replacement at the position – and the club could also use an impactful wide receiver.

As the NFL Draft draws closer and closer, NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter chose the ideal top two picks for the Pittsburgh Steelers at the No. 20 and No. 52 spots – saying that the organization needs to select Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder and Western Michigan wide receiver Skyy Moore.

“With the search for Ben Roethlisberger’s long-term replacement continuing, second-year offensive coordinator Matt Canada should be enamored with Ridder’s maturity, arm talent, pocket poise and ability to create yardage with his feet,” Reuter wrote. “Finding another receiver is another priority for Pittsburgh. Moore’s strong hands and explosiveness give him a shot to contribute early.”
