NFL Draft: 10 prospects who can boost their stock at Senior Bowl

With the 2021 college football season in the books, collegiate players who have declared for the 2022 NFL Draft will have another chance to boost their stock on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

With the Senior Bowl just a couple of weeks away, NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter compiled a list of 10 prospects who could boost their NFL Draft stock at the Senior Bowl.

NFL.com’s 10 Draft Prospects Who Could Boost Stock at Senior Bowl

1.) Sam Howell, Quarterback, North Carolina: Howell put together a solid season for North Carolina in 2021, throwing for 3,056 yards and 24 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. He also rushed for 828 yards and 11 more touchdowns.

2.) JoJo Domann, Linebacker, Nebraska: Domann played five seasons at Nebraska, and his 2021 campaign was the best of them all. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker registered 71 total tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two interceptions to lead the Cornhuskers’ defensive unit.

3.) Myjai Sanders, Edge Rusher, Cincinnati: Sanders made 41 tackles and 2.5 sacks for Cincinnati last season, playing a big role in the Bearcats’ run to the College Football Playoff semifinals.

4.) Kerby Joseph, Safety, Illinois: Joseph tallied 57 total tackles – 41 of those being solo – to go along with five interceptions and a sack for Illinois in 2021.

5.) Christian Watson, Wide Receiver, North Dakota State: Watson had a strong season for North Dakota State, catching 43 passes for 800 yards and seven touchdowns. He finishes his NDSU career with over 2,000 yards and 14 touchdowns.

6.) Travis Jones, Defensive Tackle, UConn: Jones made 48 tackles and 4.5 sacks for UConn last season and finishes his Huskies career with 134 total tackles. He recorded 40 or more tackles in each of his three seasons.

7.) Dameon Pierce, Running Back, Florida: Rushing for 574 yards and 13 touchdowns on 100 carries, Pierce had a big year for Florida in 2021. In addition to his numbers on the ground, Pierce also caught 19 passes for 216 yards and three more scores.

8.) Jake Ferguson, Tight End, Wisconsin: A 6-foot-5, 244-pound tight end, Ferguson tallied 46 receptions for 450 yards and three touchdowns a season ago. The Madison native was a consistent player for the Badgers over his four years with the program.

9.) Zyon McCollum, Cornerback, Sam Houston: McCollum recorded three interceptions while playing in just three games for Sam Houston last season. He’s a 6-foot-4, 195-pound defender out of Galveston, Texas.

10.) Cole Strange, Offensive Guard, UT-Chattanooga: Strange, a 6-foot-6, 301-pound offensive guard, helped the Mocs win six games last season.
