Nick Saban shines in hilarious Vrbo commercial as 'most demanding vacation rental host of all time'
Nick Saban has a lot more time on his hands after retirement and apparently has a new business venture of being a vacation rental host. Unfortunately, the former Alabama head coach appears to be quite demanding and intrusive to guests.
VRBO put together a commercial with Saban, showing a family showing up at his home. He hilariously goes over all the rules of the house, with one of them being no kids allowed inside. Saban even kicks them out at one point when catching them hanging out on the couch.
We have seen Saban’s acting skills on full display in the past, most famously for Aflac alongside Colorado head coach Deion Sanders. Now, he is portraying such a poor rental home host, people are going to be flocking to use VRBO.

Since he is no longer patrolling the Alabama sidelines on gameday, Saban should be a lot more visible during the 2024 season. Not just with these types of commercials but he has quickly settled into his role as an analyst on ESPN College GameDay. His first test run at the 2024 NFL Draft was a success, followed by joining the crew in Dublin for the Week 0 Florida State–Georgia Tech matchup.
Nick Saban believes Alabama culture has remained under Kalen DeBoer
Although he’s not on the sidelines every week, Nick Saban is still around the Alabama program in some capacity. Before he headed to Ireland with ESPN’s College GameDay, he caught a scrimmage as Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide get ready for the season.

What Saban saw seemed familiar. He saw plenty of similarities to his operation in Tuscaloosa during his time as head coach.
Saban said the culture didn’t look like it missed a beat after the high-profile coaching change. He thought DeBoer’s team resembled those from the last 17 years with how they looked during the scrimmage.
“All I can tell you is I went and watched last week’s scrimmage on Saturday, and that team still has the same culture they had when I was the coach,” Saban said. “They play with toughness, they play with great effort, they execute well, they’ve got good discipline. So Kalen has done a really good job.”
