The NCAA Transfer Portal has been around longer than the one-time transfer rule, but it has gotten a lot more attention since that rule came into being. One player who was known for transferring frequently back then was quarterback Nick Starkel, who played for Texas A&M, Arkansas, and San Jose State during his five-year career.

In all of the chaos of the transfer portal, Nick Starkel took to Twitter to joke about things and explain his future.

“Sadly I cannot enter the transfer portal again,” Nick Starkell tweeted. “Tried logging in and seeing if I could sneak back onto the field but my access was revoked.”

“Guess I’ll go all in on this Coaching stuff!”

If they won’t let Nick Starkel hit the portal one more time, he’ll have to go into coaching. He is currently a high school football coach.

Earlier, Nick Starkel had also joked that the transfer portal worked for him, but “there was only about 3 people in it at the time”

Deion Sanders sent a message about transfers

The transfer portal is here to stay. Coaches know that they need to use it to their advantage now. Deion Sanders is one of them, warning his Colorado players to commit or hit the transfer portal.

“I keep seeing ‘I’m blessed to receive a(n) offer from @CUBuffsFootball,’” Sanders said.

“I’m cool with that but if u know what I know you need to start saying ‘I’m blessed to commit to @CUBuffsFootball‘ because They’re Coming Baby! Get in now before it’s too late. #CoachPrime ‘I ain’t hard to find.”
