He is the top uncommitted quarterback not named Arch Manning. His recruitment is also set for one of the top recruiting battles in the country largely because he’s cast a wide net in his recruitment.

Iamaleava is interested in SEC schools, especially Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. But he’s also looking hard at Miami and Oregon, two schools he’s recently visited. Also don’t discount the push from hometown UCLA, which is looking for its quarterback of the future under Chip Kelly.

As things stand now, Alabama and Georgia are trending.

Their On3 RPM projections have grown over the past few weeks by 17% with Alabama and 9.9% with Georgia. Tennessee is up by 3%, too.

But with Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss in the hunt for Manning, it’ll be fascinating to see what happens.

Nico Iamaleava currently ranks as the No. 11 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He also ranks as the No. 3 quarterback and second-ranked player in California. On3 ranks him slightly higher than the industry average at No. 8 in the country.

Nico Iamaleava currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $52,000, which ranks 43rd in the On3 High School Football NIL Rankings. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
