On300 edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes talks visit with UNC's Bill Belichick
New North Carolina head coach and eight-time Super Bowl Champion Bill Belichick is out on the road recruiting.
Rolesville (NC) High, home of On300 2026 edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes was the first stop.
“It’s a blessing knowing that I’m the first player and first school he came to,” Griffin-Haynes said.
The in-state blue-chipper is excited about the trajectory of the Tar Heels program under Belichick.
“Just the change of the program,” Griffin-Haynes said. “How the NFL caliber comes apart (of it) and how the program (will) grow into a championship program.”
Griffin-Haynes enjoyed his conversation with Belichick.
“He told me I’m an NFL player I gotta do what it takes to get there and coming to UNC he will make sure I’m in the right position too,” Griffin-Haynes recapped.
