Kernersville (NC) East Forsyth On300 quarterback and North Carolina commit Bryce Baker will be in Los Angeles this week to compete in the Elite 11 Finals.

The four-star passer is one of 20 signal-callers that earned a Golden Ticket to this prestigious event.

“The opportunity to compete with other tops guys in a intense environment and improve my skills while learning from some to of the best!” Baker said of what he’s looking forward to.

The 2024 Elite 11 Finals will bring together top performers to receive advanced 1-on-1 quarterback instruction in a highly competitive setting. The event will span three days and include on-field drills, competition, classroom instruction and off-field development.

The 2024 Elite 11 and 2024 Elite 11 MVP will be named at the conclusion of competition on Thursday.

Baker plans to have his name listed among the best, with this experience propelling him into a great senior season and beyond.

The 6-foot-2 1/2, 200-pound Baker has been a verbal to Mack Brown and North Carolina since June 23, choosing the in-state program over NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Virginia Tech, Penn State and others.

“I definitely say the love from the coaching staff and aspect of development,” Baker said at the On3 Elite Series of why he gave UNC his pledge. “That was big for me going into the recruiting process. Making it to the next level and I feel like UNC can provide that opportunity above what other schools offered in my opinion.”

Baker is one of the jewels of a North Carolina class On3 ranks No. 24 nationally.

“My recruiting class, grew a relationship with the guys that are trying to get recruited from UNC. The guys that are high priority and the commits already there. The relationships with the commits definitely gravitated me towards UNC.”

Baker believes Onis Konanbanny and Malik Clark are close to joining the rest in the class.

Easy to see why Brown and the Tar Heels gravitated towards Baker. As a junior he completed over 66 percent of his passes for 3,082 yards and 39 touchdowns to just three interceptions.

The On3 Industry tabs Baker as the country’s No. 21 quarterback and No. 267 prospect overall. On3 is higher ranking him No. 17 and No. 191 respectively.
